Who the heck is Gayle Conroy and what is she doing in my dreams?

I'm this woman from Detroit who's got a thousand voices living in my throat -- each of whom I've told to pay its own way or be kicked out onto the street. Please hire at one of these voices, as there isn't one voice in the whole bunch that can support itself on its own. In fact they've been mooching off of me for years. Don't get me started. The last thing you want on your conscience is knowing you were the cruel ogre who's responsible for the entire homeless voice population. There would be police investigations... Congressional hearings...

Trust me. It'd just get ugly.
